Michael H. Schill is a nationally known scholar on property law and is the author of three books and more than 40 articles.  Dean Schill has continued to pursue his scholarship in real estate and housing policy, deregulation, finance and discrimination.  He is a co-author of the property law casebook used by more than half of all law students nationwide.  Dean Schill arrives in Chicago after five and a half years as Dean of UCLA Law School.  Previous appointments have been at NYU Law School and the University of Pennsylvania Law School.  Dean Schill attended Princeton University and received his law degree from Yale Law School.
