The outcomes of the upcoming presidential and congressional elections are expected to be very close. Given the ideological divide between the candidates and their vastly different visions, much is at stake in these elections. However, since Supreme Court appointments outlast presidencies and congressional terms, the November election results will reverberate long after the winner is declared.

Please join the University of Chicago Committee on Legal Nought for a lecture from Geoffrey Stone, JD'71, on "The 2012 Election and the Future of the Supreme Court". A University of Chicago faculty member since 1973, Stone is the Edward H. Levi distinguished service professor, former dean of the Law School, and former provost of the University.
