The 2012 Coase Lecture, "Pay-for-Performance Puzzles, Public and Private," will be presented by M. Todd Henderson.

In this lecture, Professor Henderson will examine the rise of pay for performance in corporate America, and consider several puzzles about legal regulation of executive compensation and the use and non-use of performance incentives in other areas, ranging from hospitals to schools to government bureaucracies.
