The purpose of the Dallin H. Oaks Society is to increase awareness within the Law School community of the presence, beliefs and concerns of law students who are members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (LDS). The Society will also assist in recruiting LDS students and those of similar beliefs to attend the Law School, provide fellowship for these students as they make their transition into the Law School community, and develop networking opportunities between current students and LDS graduates of the Law School. The Society will also sponsor alternative social activities that are designed to include spouses and families with small children.
